Everything is Amazing and Nobody is Happy

Everything is Amazing and Nobody is Happy

This post can be theoretically weighed. WHAT?! As a not so tech savvy person myself I will attempt to sum up the science behind this. Binary digits are representative of a mathematical code as well as voltages. The electrons that transmit the code have mass. Although the weight of an electron is so minuscule that we, at present, do not have a scale to measure it, there is a mathematical formula that can measure the mass of a single electron. Here is where the avocados come in: the formula used to find the mass is called AVOGADRO’S Constant. Scientists have figured that it takes about 8 billion electrons to store a single email. This is about 50kb. The internet as of now is about 5 million terabytes. Scientists Russell Seitz has estimated that the information on the internet itself weighs about two ounces or fifty-six grams which is the median weight of a strawberry. I realize that I am no authority on this subject but I wanted to bring it to the reader’s attention that if some pompous blockhead tells you your opinion does not carry any weight, you can confidently reply “it does if I post it”
